Background

When I Started: Feb 2005
HOW I STARTED:

Admittedly, I was 105lbs heavier. Yes, it's true. Being a single mommy I reached the point where I knew I couldn't be the best role model and example mini me deserved if I wasn't at my best and living a healthy lifestyle. Really became exhausted with settling for excuses in my life vs taking action.

WHY I LOVE IT:

OH MY GAH!! Not sure we have enough bandwidth...ha! Knowing I am continually developing, challenging, and changing my body is an empowering feeling. Especially knowing where I started. The level of security, confidence, self respect and just knowing I look and feel my best is priceless. More so, being a role model, inspiration and mentor to my daughter as well as truly being able to relate with EVERYONE out there. I want to be a face in the industry that represents determination, perseverance and strength regardless of where you're at and what your goals are.

My Motivation Program

I'm about as stubborn as they get. I'm always setting new realistic goals so failure doesn't find much time in my life. I also acknowledge that the long term goals I have will never come to fruition if I give up. As well, I ALWAYS try to surround myself with positive peeps who will encourage and support my goals. Knowing I am an inspiration to other people. I hate to disappoint anyone...especially myself. ;)

More importantly...mini me! She's the most motivating lil turd ever.

My Challenging Transformation!

So, here I sit at crunch time... I've started, stopped, deleted my essay about 50 times. I really needed this challenge. I've been blessed to have transformed my life in many ways over the past decade but I feel like I'm the walking epitomy of "transformer". People often times over estimate where a person is at in life, the circumstances around them, the hand they are dealt...based on a few smiley pics. All too often, the whole weight loss saga gets tossed into a cess pool of justifiable excuses. "I'll get to it tomorrow" or "But I've got to help her with her homework&...

CLOSING IN ON TWO WEEKS! Whooo hoooo!

I'm still learning the ropes of this bloggage system so forgive my bobo-ness for not posting sooner.  I am, however, kickin' tha booty over here!   I'm about to get measurements, bf, weight and all that fun stuff.  I started at 167lbs.  I'll go ahead and tell ya I'm not one to hop on a scale regularly but I put on a pair of jeans today that I got for Christmas....errrm...let's just say i couldn't get my left thigh in them at christmas and they fit perfect today.  Yay!  SOOOOOOOooooooo...curiousity just might get the best of me toda

02.05.11 Week 1: Day 5

So day 2& 3 started like day 1 with the exception of barely being able to take a tinkle cuz of the gamillion lunges i did monday.  Woooooweeeeee i lovveee soreness!! 


Thursday was my off day for the week bc I had a shoot.  This won't be the norm going forward.  It was literally all I could do to open my eyeballs thurs much less crawl out of bed.  Makes me tired just thinkin' about it.


Friday...meals were on point.  Same as day 1 with exception to tilapia reignin' over grilled chicken tenders.

jhavok76 Well he wandered in to a cabin we were at in the mountains. We offered him a drink but he settled for cracker jacks lol.
