When I lost my job in 2004 I joined a gym to pass the time and get in shape. I was 203 Lbs. at the time.
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel "awake," energized, and ready to take on the day after working out at 5:00 AM. It's like a drug!
How I Stay Motivated:
I used to have workout partners at the gym who pushed me on weight and reps. Now that I have relocated with my job, I am solo at the gym, so hoping BodyBuilding.com will help.
BB Accomplishments:
I dropped 20 Lbs. in 2004 when I started working out and began competing in 5 & 10K races.

I started a leg routine two weeks ago. I have never trained legs before, I have only done walking lunges and ran (5ks & 10ks). I have begun doing Squats and Deadlifts (see my Stats).
Today my wife noticed a large bruise the size of a softball on my right glute. The only other time...

Hey :) Its going okay, had a little break, went to Houston, Texas for a little vacation. Got back to the gym tonight, the knee is bugging me...but I know what I gotta do. Legs legs legs. Lots of wonderful squats and lunges. How are you?
