I recommend Nitro-Tech protein powder.It has several supplements added in it that you need during heavy training.and the taste is amazing. I also recommend Arson, which is made by Muscle Asylum Project. This is an amazing fat loss supplement.

That sounds good. It would be ideal for you to find a strongman competitor to train with. They could show you the correct technique for each strongman event. Believe me, you have to have good technique with most of the strongman events. Strength is not enough.

Until you get some equipment or find some to use the best advice that I have is start off with power lifting workouts. Deadlifts, Squats, Clean and Presses, bench press. These are the basic excersises used by strongmen. I hope all this helps and let me know what else you need.

You can also look around your area and maybe find a gym that has strongman equipment or someone who has the equipment that you can train with. There are several gyms in Ohio that do this.

It has taken me a couple of years to acumulate the stuff that I have. This stuff is not cheap and it is hard to find. Some guys make their own equipment.

When you look at the pics of the guys on this site you will see that they all have some type of strongman equipment at home that they train with. I myself have Atlas Stones, Steel Log, Husaphelt stone, Keg and of cours lots of weights for deadlifting.There are lots of other things that I would like to have but don't yet.

In order to do well in a strongman contest you need to practice with the equipment as much as possible. So if possible the first thing you need to do is make or buy you some equipment used in strongman events. Such as Atlas Stones, Steel Log, Husaphelt stone, ETC. it doesn't matter how strong you are, if you don't pratice with the equipment used, than most people don't do well.

I would appreciate and regard it as an honor if you would consider putting me on your “members that inspire list.” I am trying to work my way up the most inspirational ladder so that other amputees and people with handicaps can feel motivated and inspired to work out. So many handicapped people feel as though they can’t get into shape and I want them to know that they can.
