When I Started:
May, 2008
How I Started:
I was tired of being the rutt of the group (family) i looked up to my older brothers who worked out all the time.
Why I Love It:
It's the best. Keeps me healthy and strong like a shark..haha. The awesome pumps i get after each set. I've been seeing alot of improvement over the last few months since i've started. This site is one of if not the greatest motivation site on the internet ever. I'm tryin my hardest to accomplish my goals. My goals are never ending....there's always one after another.I truly love the sport and i've incorporated it as part of my life.I couldn't be more happier than being in a gym where i'm in my total element.
How I Stay Motivated:
knowing i'm doing this for myself and seeing how far i can push my body. The people here on Bodyspace are my other source of motivation. Motivation is second nature to me....it's just there....more of is just a bonus. I don't take anyone or anything for granted. Life is short and i want to see what is out there and the best way to do that is to be healthy: physically and mentally.
BB Accomplishments:
Will help me excel in PT training when i join the Army

Goal (Long):
It seems that i'm finding myself at the gym most of the time after work. I have many goals and i'm trying a few at a time, that way i don't lose focus. My goal this year 2008, is to build more muscle and sort of lean down but not too much before summer. I've never taken supplements and don't plan to in the future. My goal is to weight train 100% natural.Nutrition for Health and Fitness was one of my majors in school. I've been applying what i've learned to my training and diet and so far it's been awesome! I can't believe the results i've been seeing. My friends and others ask me all the time what supplements i take. I tell them 'zero' nothing. I just eat the right foods and listen to how my body responds. Again, Most important, I'm a Self Body Builder not a Competing Body Builder. My goal is to create myself for me. It's my hard work to judge. I believe Everyone is a champ in their own right. No one can take that way from you.

I compressed my right rotator so I couldnt do any heavy lifting for about 2 months this summer. Be careful how much tuna you take in, dont want mercury posion. Limit to maybe 4-5 cans per week. Try to utilize salmon and talapia or basa instead. Lots of chicken and lean beef every 2nd day.

Training is going pretty good, feeling really strong now and less worry about injury. So which way are you heading with weight, are you cutting or adding size? Massing up right?

haha. Yeah I only do forearms every now and again, probably like every 2 weeks. I figure they get hit enough with everything else, but I like to superset front barbell curls and behind the back. I wanted to be King Leonitis from 300, but its alittle cold. I'm just gonna throw something together at the last minute! Halloween is gonna crush my diet ha! but it should be a hell of a time. You got anything big?

Whats avi? lol. The weekends been pretty good so far man! Did a 10k last night, and I just got back from the Buckeyes game, we finally played well! haha. I'm gonna test out the yams tonight before I hit the gym. Its an off day, but I have nothing to do, so I might do a little back and some abs?! Who knows. Saturday nights are awesome for lifting, the gym is empty!! Have a good workout tonight!!

Thats sweet with the abs man! Not many people keep up with the cardio unfortunately. You have a p retty solid work out schedule too. I'm not extremely strict with my diet right now, but I do like 5-6 meals a day. Breakfast-4 egg whites, oatmeal, oj/milk. Then the others are just like grilled chicken, tuna and veggies. I'm looking to get more strict with it though. You have any good meal plans?

Right now its: M-Chest T-arms W-Back R-Chest F-Shoulders and legs. I'm loving this split. I've been putting alot of focus on triceps, and it is amazing how much ive gained in all my presses because of it! What's your work out look like?

Thank you so much for your comment! It is hard at times but if you stick with it and decide failure is not an option you will see the results! I am proof of that! energy flows where attention goes! The couch or the gym? The choice is theirs...:) Christy

I always advocate one or the other, bulk or cut. Either way takes full dedication and you cant do that if you are focusing on both. I cut the bad weight for 6 months, now Im into a bulk for 2 more months then cut for 4 prior to a show next may. It will be my first show so I want to run through a full prep to figure out how to do it properly.
