I started working out a long time ago to lose weight, then in May of 2005 I decided I wanted to train for a triathlon. Thats what started me on becoming a real gym rat. Also the fact that I want to be a trainer. So, I spend alot of my free time in the gym now training a friend and my mom as well as myself.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel and look good. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I reach the goals I set and its really boosted my confidence.
How I Stay Motivated:
My friend, my mom, and I'm basically addicted so I don't really lose motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
No bodybuilding accomplishments yet, but I have completed a half marathon, several road races, and 7 triathlons. I've also placed in 3 of these races.
This was when I was a fat lazy teenager who ate everything I wanted and sat at the computer or watched tv for hours.
This was just taken recently and will now be used for my before picture. After lifting max and diet changes, I hope to see some more definition and tone.

If you are going to start using your new profile picture as your "before" picture - that is SOME before pic! Great job with what you did to train for the tri. You already work hard so I am sure that you will get ripped like you want by the summer.
