Background

When I Started: Aug 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I started as a form of self rehab after a motorcycle accident. Broke my shoulder and didn't feel the need to pay a Doc or therapist for something I could do myself.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love to look and feel younger than I am. Working with and around college students also helps with the mental aspect as most everyone around me is upbeat and motivated.

I work at Laramie County Community College and use the weight room everyday for about 1.5 hours, 5 days a week, during my lunch (plus a little, lol shhh). It is a college so I get to work around young college students. This really helps drive me, as most if not all, are 20+ years younger and I tend to be competitive. Last few days there have been a few younger men asking me a lot of questions about muscle groups, routines and suppliments. Today really made me feel good as one really wanted to know about weight loss and cardio and wanted a list of the suppliments I use. He ran up to...

Working out or Hunting?

Hunting of course! Some things just cant be altered. The once a year hunt for deer/elk is a must. One and a half weeks of high mountain Wyoming scenery, fresh air and climbing over here and there. Not alot of lifting... but a good bit of daily aerobics at cool thin air altitude. Lugging around a pack, ammo and a rifle and hopefully a nice big buck! Currently on a high protien diet which I think I can maintain while off the map. Been more prep time than prior trips as I prepare 6 meals a day for the whole trip. Hunting partner says I am nuts! "Just eat what you want this week!" h...
