I was losing tons of weight for no reason, constantly sick, and finally diagnosed with an extreme case of Crohn's disease. I looked sickly skinny and decided weight lifting was the way to get back to looking and feeling good!
Why I Love It:
The rush you get on a really good day. I have some good lifting buddies, and everybody in the gym is friendly, good looking, and motivated.
How I Stay Motivated:
Scope out the competition, compete with friends that work out. Plus, if I don't work out or work too much, I lose weight fast, feel horrible, and usually can't eat.
BB Accomplishments:
+Regaining almost 30lbs in 7months (125-155). Almost back to my body weight from before developing Crohn's Disease (175)!
+ 215lb bench with good form, up about 40lbs from my starting ability
Forum Signature:
Work out enough, and you can eat ANYTHING! Mwuhahahaaaaa
I want to look like... the mannequins wearing UnderArmour...
Goal (Long):
I've been steadily gaining weight, but plateauing at times. If I go out to sea, vacation, or for any reason cant work out and eat tons of protein then I lose weight.
I like pyramid styles. A light warmup if it is the first set on that muscle. Then either a cascading high to low reps each set with low to high weight or vice versa.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
I prob only rest 30-60 seconds but should do 60-90 seconds.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Some girl bumped my shoulder while I was doing a heavy (for me) shoulder dumbbell press. I tried to save it but the weight went backwards and really tore up my shoulder. My upper chest and front shoulder were killing me for a week. I was mad! Some girl bumped my shoulder while I was doing a heavy (for me) shoulder dumbbell press. Since I started working out I have started paying attention a lot more to veins. Before I thought that if you were veiny, you were probably in good shape, besides those people who just have crazy stringy veins every where! Now I guess veins are just an indicator of overall bodyfat, but not...
Right now, 1muscle group a day with cardio every other day after my lifting. Abs, every weekday. Gotta get back in shape like I was a few months ago before moving.
Good Luck in reaching all you future goals!Show the world BB.com rocks. Vote for me as model of the month at http://www.worldphysique.com/v otemale.html Thanks for your support!
HEY THERE, THANK YOU FOR THE NEGATIVE INPUT! I GET MY BODYFAT MEASURED BY A PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL TRAINER WHO CATERS TO AND TRAINS COMPETITORS BEING A FORMER BODY-COMPETITIOR HIMSELF. GETTTING ON THE SITE TO LIE ABOUT BODYSTATS SO I CAN LOOK COOL ISNT EXACTLY WHAT FLOATS MY BOAT, ALTHOUGH MAYBE THAT DOES IT FOR ANOTHER. THE IMPROVEMENT I HAVE MADE IS A SMALL CONTRIBUTION TO WHAT IM GOING TO BE IN THE FUTURE. I APPRECIATE THE CRITICISM, WHAT YOU PUT OUT THERE SAYS A LOT ABOUT YOU!
