When I Started: Feb 2000
HOW I STARTED:

When I started playing high school football they wanted me to work out. Even though I was getting stronger, and not bigger, I still loved it.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Makes me feel better. Knowing I'm staying fit and looking better makes everything else better.

So, I figured I'd finally start my bodyblog! So first let me tell you about me. I am a cop in southern Maryland, so in my opinion, working out is not an option, but a neccessity. Between chasing suspects, the ups and downs of adrenaline levels, long hours, and preparing for SWAT school, I damn near live in the gym. Well maybe not live in there, but you all know what I mean. I played D2 college football as a kicker and punter (yes an african-american kicker and punter) and was a hard gainer. I was good at wide receiver as well, but didn't have the size, nor the blazing speed neccessary to...

craigcapurso I get away with it as I keep my nutrition in check and I supplement to help keep up with my deficiencies but you bring up good point.. with days of training etc.. I structure off season different than diet for a competition to allow for growth.. Dec 24, 2011 2:45pm
