After suffering a major loss in my life, with the death of my only brother/sibling to cancer, I went into a deep depression for about 5 years and allowed myself to go from 135 pounds to 185 pounds.
Then in February 2007, something clicked and I was finally ready to work on myself, again. I did cardio and worked on my Total Gym, 7 days per week, without fail. Within 6 weeks, I had lost an astounding 25 inches!!
Why I Love It:
I love to see the changes my body is capable of making! I feel very fit and athletic, and my endurance has shot through the roof!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing and feeling all the positive strides I am making, is what keeps me going. For the first time in my life, I am seeing the emergence of AB muscles and that just inspires me to try even harder!
BB Accomplishments:
The loss of 75 inches, to date, is my biggest accomplishment! Plus, I have visible muscle tone, especially in my thigh area.

My stomach has always been the hardest for me to firm up, and has been a thorn in my side since I was 12 yrs old. I thought my only hope was surgery, but that is a HUGE undertaking, and the scar it leaves is horrible. So I began studying up on the subject and stumbled upon this wonderful Body Building site!
I have, recently, began to follow the Eat-Clean Diet, as I felt I was just spinning my wheels and not seeing any tummy results, in spite of giving it my all. Within just 3 days of clean eating, I spotted my first glimpse of upper AB`s showing through!!
So, now, my motivation is high, and I truly feel I AM very much capable of having a 6 pack in my lifetime!
But, I`ll even settle for a 4 pack!! I`m not greedy!Ha!
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
I usually visit some forums or look at some profiles, and just seeing others as they work toward their goals, helps to motivate me to get going on my workout!

Hello, I am still here. My diet and exercise is in check, with improvements to be made of course- always room for that. When I first started losing weight I was 331 pounds, I am now at 313 pounds, yippee! Keto has been a blessing to me. How are you doing? Get back to me and fill me in on your latest goals and accomplishments. Have a blessed day!
Hi there. Thanks for checking in. You look great by the way! How are you feeling?
I have made no progress. I have been eating well but workouts have dropped off a bit due to my schedule. But, despite lifting and protein intake I cannot lose body fat. I am tired of posting my frustrations. On one hand everyone says "eat eat" on the other hand if I eat more than I burn, I gain weight. On one hand everyone says to "back off the cardio to build muscle" but I can't lose fat without it.
