When I Started:
Jul, 2007
How I Started:
All my life i have been heavy even though in high school i played sports. I grew up with military parents so our house was pretty active. I picked up one of my mom's Oxygen mags in high school and my desire to be a healthy fit woman was sparked. I wish i could say i have been fit ever since but i have not. However, with my birthday coming up i have made up my mind that i will no longer live my life fat and out of shape. I am not dieting anymore...i am changing my lifestyle.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of accomplishment that working out gives me. Never once have i finished a workout and been like... "i wish i hadn't done that."
How I Stay Motivated:
When my clothes get smaller and when i have achieved another level of fitness. Being heavy you always feel limited physically. So when i do something i thought i couldnt do, it just feels great!
BB Accomplishments:
Taking responsibility for myself and making my health a priority.

I have not been on BS in a loooong time. Not sure why. Life just happened (new house, new job, new dog, new man). I forgot how motivating and supportive this site has been for my fitness journey. I will be more consistent with my post and pictures. Many thanks to all those who have sent me...
Got a new trainer! Here is what I am going to work on right now... Cardio 5-6 days a week for 30-45 minutes and total body weight workouts 2-3 days a week. So wish me luck on the program!
That's how I was too. Then when I got the mojo back, I got pregnant. So, here I got for the 3rd time. They said the 3rd time is the charm, so I am hoping.
Thank you very much for saying that you find me inspirational. I am both deeply humbled as well as truly honored to receive such praise. Rest assured that I will continue to work as hard as I can to prove that fitness has no age limit.
Stay strong, focused & determined and may God bless.
Yes, you can see changes between the last two progress pictures. You're legs and backside have slimmed down considerably! But I'm exactly like you, I can never see any changes until someone else sees them. Keep up the great work!!
