I've registered for The BSN Summer Shred 2013 Challenge and i'm excited about the possibilities. I know that this is going to be quite the experience. So looking forward to preparing meals, counting calories, protein shakes, rubbing my sore feet & knees, and working-out. I will say this...(lol)...I use the Activ Trax System at my gym. And it has now got me on Stationary Lunges. Wow...I tried to do them, and my knees are not ready for that. So, i'll have to improvise and find other exercise... Go to BodyBlog

ptoole53 Hey Eric, I completely understand how discouraging injuries can be. I can only say, do something! If your knee hurts, use dumbbells in a chair and do different exercises that you use only your upper body, if your elbow hurts use exercises that you can do with stiff arms, listen to your body man, and keep going. ptoole53 Eric, I love the attitude and where your faith is. We are more than conquerors in the name of Jesus. Just keep your cardio Low impact. Increasing the incline allows you to increase your heart rate, without increasing the opportunity of injury to your joints, which in turn allows you to continue with your quest toward a healthy lifestyle. ptoole53 What do you have for cardio? I would consider even the recumbant bike due to the injury. The recumant bike is the best tool for recovery, after a couple of weeks of that consider walking on an incline of 3 or 4, or if you have an eliptical or arc trainer, try to increase the incline on that.
