When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
My New Year's Resolutions included getting into shape and quitting smoking. I gave up smoking on January 1st. I have not smoked since. On January 1st I weighed 252 and was nearly 30% body fat. I joined Gold's Gym and begun with Cardio and some lifting. Desiring faster results and a more set schedule due to my demanding hours at work I invested in p90x. As of today I am nearly done with my first round. I have done additional cardio and sports on top of the workouts and have had amazing results. I have dropped down to 205 pounds and continue to lose weight while putting on muscle. I am roughly 12% body fat and continue to drop.
Why I Love It:
My job can be extremely demanding and working out keeps me fit as well as helps with stress. Now that I have adopted the lifestyle, I need to workout or I feel sickly and tired for the day.
For the summer I would like to get down to 7%-9% bodyfat. Following the summer I'd like to do a clean bulk up to maybe 200 lbs. and hopefully increase all my lifts.
She is the reason I work so hard. She pushed me through my transformation and held me up when it became difficult. I keep making progress with her support.
Hi there. How's everything been going w/ you? I kind of slcaked off a little over the summer (was doing a lot of cycling, and only lifting 1-2 times a week), but I'm back into it 5x/wk now and it feels great. You're looking real good there. Hope all has been going well for you. Keep up the good work, and have a great day.
Hey Cory, tnx 4 the gr8 post, buddy, awesome transformation, stay strong and bring it for the kids you work with, LEAD ON and show the way. keep peelin those abs, man. Pack on the lean muscle. Peace, Rich
Awesome transformation Cory! You look incredible and I know you feel incredible! It just goes to show once you put your mind to it, you can do it. I'm working on that myself and hope to really start seeing some progress. Your progress pics are nothing but true motivation! Keep it up dude!
Great pictures! I have a pair of pants like yours I keep for my progress and to remind myself why I will never go back to where I was! Keep up the awesome work!
I like how you don't make excuses and just make the time to get a workout in!
Jen
That's a really amazing change. You can see that you had really strong legs both in calves and in quads before you lost -- and thank god didn't lose too much of that muscle mass!
Hey there, Cory. How's everything been going? Nothing much new here, I've been doing more bike riding than lifting the past couple of weeks. Kind of took a short break, but am ready to get back into it again. Hopw all ios well w/ you, and have a gread weekend.
Man, I'm sure there's not much that hasn't been said but, WOW! Your transformation is amazing! I never tire of seeing this kind of thing happen in someone's life! You're blessed man!
Impressive! if you don't mind me asking. What does your cardio regiment look like? I'm right around your starting weight, and I found your progress to be very inspiring. Appreciate any advise you have.
