The first job I had was a personal trainer. At the time, I had never even seen a gym in my 16 years of life (2 years later I asked my boss why the HELL he hired me with my no knowledge of ANYTHING and he simply said "I saw great potential in you"). I learned pretty quick, though. I started working out not for the reasons one would think, lol. I just wanted to get out of the house for awhile and being that I worked short shifts, I was able to stick around after work and use that gym to my advantage. Within 3 months, I had seen what I had done to myself. 3 months of eating right, working out 7 days a week, 2 hours a day, doing cardio an hour a day...ALL THAT combined was when I KNEW, this is how I wanted my life to be. THAT is how I wanted to look. Unfortunately, I quit personal training after 4 years to go slave away in retail as a make-up artist (I don't know why I did it, ahh!) and working 8 hours a day, on my feet, hunched over all the time, REALLY took it's toll on me. My eating habits were shot to shit and I wasn't even hitting the gym. In those 2 years I worked in retail, I hit the gym probably no more than 3 TIMES, in 2 YEARS! It was a majorly depressing and disappointing time in my life and I just could not get myself motivated enough to go back to the way things were. I, fortunately, left that job in October 2007 and started back on my journey of a healthy and fit lifestyle in the beginning of 2008 and I KNOW, this time, it'll STICK. I couldn't be any happier =)
Why I Love It:
The fact that only YOU can determine how you want to look.
How I Stay Motivated:
Checking out videos on BODYBUILDING.COM. Not only do I learn soooo much as far as gym workouts (Charles Glass = GOD) and meal plans go, I look at all those people and KNOW they have gotten that far just by discipling themselves and making it a LIFESTYLE and that's exactly what it is.
BB Accomplishments:
I haven't quite reached any yet BUT, 2008 is going to be a great year for me...I'm wanting to compete with the pro's! =)
Gosh, where do I begin? I guess in simplest terms, I want to look like Monica Brant and then, compete against her! Watch out, Monica! =)
Goal (Long):
I want women to look at me and have ME be the motivation for them...just like how Monica Brant is to me. Overall development in every muscle...I want to be lean and chiseled and get those 6-pack abs.
