climber13 thanks! this site has been really helpful in my fitness journey! I live in Sacramento, CA, so I do alot of climbing in the sierras. but I have climbed all over Cali. its a great state for climbers and Sac is surprisingly a great city to be in if you climb, tons of rock within 2 hours drive! what about you??? bloodbrotherz lol, thx man, when i was a little boy till the age of 18, i delivered the journal to houses with my bike 365 days a yr, winter included, that got them going haha! Also, doing Kyokushin karate for 12 yrs, really got them groing cuz we did push ups, sit ups and jumping squats every cours. But no i wouldnt trade my legs for anything, girls like tehm to much :P peace! Aug 9, 2012 5:00pm

fitforlife42 For many years I did the same basic movements for my chest routine keeping it simple. I trained chest twice a week on a push pull routine. For chest I did bench press and db flat bench press thats it plus I would do dips and or close grip bench press when I trained triceps. For me I was a hard gainer so less was better not more volume. fitforlife42 I think a good area for measurement is just above where the three heads of the quad meet the tear drop for me that is about 4 inches up from the top of the knee cap. This distance will vary from person to person. Because it is measuring all the quad muscles this will give you a good indicator of thigh development. You could always take a second measurement farther up the leg halfway between the top of the knee and top of thigh. Mar 22, 2012 11:31am
