I was tired of being 180 lbs. so I decided to get into shape!
Why I Love It:
It just gives me a great feeling. It's good for your health, your self-esteem, and it's a good stress reliever!
How I Stay Motivated:
Well... lately, I've had major motivational problems. That's why I joined the board!
BB Accomplishments:
I was in my prime about two years ago! I really looked great, but at the time, still thought I had a long way to go. If I could only be in that shape NOW!

This was taken a year before the back double in the yellow tank... before I "beefed up"...
This was also taken after over a year off at the gym. HELP me guys...
Fitness goals - lose 30lbs. and run a 1/2 marathon next year.
Goal (Long):
I want to be in the shape I was in a couple of years ago. I went back to school, so I had to take a break from the gym. Well, I guess I didn't really have to... But since I've finished school, I just haven't been able to stick to fitness like I had before. I've run a couple of 5k's and I am a member of my company's running team... but it's NOT enough! I need to feel that burn again. I loved it! So... bottom line... my goal is to lose 30 lbs. by August 7th - my birthday! Then, after that, I'd like to train for a 1/2 marathon (13 miles). Then... who knows.

You look awesome.... take care! you have such a small waist and a great upper body! Have you ever thought of competing, you are in excellent shape, you would be competition-ready in no time!
I don't think I could lay off the weights either. Muscles burn calories all day long, so why would you not have both cardio and weight training as part of a weightloss program. Well, I look forward to your progress pics. Keep on working hard and I am sure you will be happy with the results soon.
My suggestion. Blow those photos of you being ripped up to life size photos. Post them by your door!! Look at them every day and say to your self. I am going to be like that again by august!!
I like the photos it shows What you want to be again. Now the one thing Is muscle memmory and your training you did in the past to get there. I was reading what you said and you asked for help. Ok do exactly what you did in 2005 and you will reach your goals. Good luck.
Giana, from the pics you posted your legs look amazing. I hope your training is going well otherwise I'm gonna have to personally fly down to Texas to kick in the you-know-what :)
