I was a Gymnast and a Cheerleader when I was younger so I've always been active, but since the "team sport" days are over for me I needed a new way to exerise/stay in shape.
Why I Love It:
The way it makes me look and feel.
How I Stay Motivated:
Realizing many of the health problems in my immediate family can hopefully be put off/completely avoided by me if I keep up the working out and being healthy.

This was very very shortly after filing for divorce, hard time...I had NOT been working out for a few months at this point.
This is only the first day of week 2 on my new workout program.
So, I have been unable to do very much cardio for the past 2 weeks. I ran the Indy 500 Mini Marathon (13.1 miles) and in the last 2 miles I felt my left knee tighten up like something was about to snap! Needless to say it was hard to even walk normally for the next couple of days. I went to...
Weight Training: 3 times a week/ Cardio: 5 times a week
Monday: Back/Biceps
Pull ups 4 sets of 5
Bent over dumbbell rows 3 sets of 10-12
Upright rows with bands 3 sets of 10-12
Lower back extensions on exercise ball 3 sets of 10-12
Bicep curls 3 sets of 10-12
Hammer curls 3 sets...
