"I want to gain about 20-30 lbs of muscle, get more definition in my arms.... mainly workin out my abs, chest, and arms. I want to be at a steady 210-220llbs."

Personal Info And Background:
Real Name: C G
Sex: Male
Age: 21
Location: Maryland, United States
Occupation: Student
Personal Website:
Gym: My room or community gym
Gym Location: Home
When I Started: May, 2007
How I Started: I just want to get in better shape, change my body type around, become more muscular and toned.

Started going to the YMCA running on the treadmill and doing some ab crunches and lifting weights.
Why I Love It: I would love to see more toned arms and a better chest.

I would love to live a better and healthier life, gain more muscle.... when I was younger I was like a stick and I just want to look better, gain muscle as well as confidence.

Everytime I watch tv or get online I see someone I would like to look like, someone with great arms and great abs & chest.
How I Stay Motivated: Just by thinking about how my body will improve over time... as long as I keep working out and lifting weights.

Keep looking in the mirror and taking pictures to post my progress and see some progress.
BB Accomplishments: Just to tone out and gain some muscle and weight.
Forum Signature: This whole ordeal is MIND OVER MATTER!
I am staying committed this time cause I want to see some change in my body over the next couple of months.

Progress: Exercising a lot more... trying to stay away from the soda, drinking more water, milk (2%), and green tea. However, the diet is hard to change, but I want to.

All suggestions are a plus!

What bicep workout has worked best for you?
Right now, the bicep workout that works for me is dumbbell curls, I don't know what else to do.

And honestly the quickest way for fat loss dietwise is to take in a lot of fiber, soy protein, and drink green tea. You might also want to cut down on the carb and caloric intake by a half.

I like the workouts that gets things done. Since I am training for mass, I am lifting heavy weights with low reps and use supersets and trisets. If I want to cut, I use light weights and high reps and add cardio at the end of the workout.

Dont lift after you do them, dedicate a day to arms and blast them till you are sore the next day. Then give them time to recover. Muscles need time to rebuild, thats why i said dont work them everyday.

Dont do them everyday. I work them about once every 5 days. You want to work them more extensivley than just curls to the point where they get sore.

Vato!! Just eat very clean and smart! Stick with bodyweight workouts and compound only. Do isolate u muscle. U will shorten your potential man. Just eat clean for a while. Do some only bodyweight workouts. Like pullups, chinups, pushups, squats and deadlifts man

he he he, motivation problems. Back when I first started I preferred training alone. It was easy. No griping, no having to explain things. Just lift, get out, be merry. What happened is a blog posting? Whats your issue though?

For bulking just stick to the basics.High protein diet, basic compound lifts.Stick to it and don't look back.Give youself plenty of time to reach goals. For arms supersets are gold.Good luck to you.
