Its going good man! Training is increasing in weights and my Dad is pretty much fully recovered now, he'll be at 100% soon. How bout yourself? What you got planned for 2010?

Its slowly coming along! I'm at 475 right now and two and a half away weeks away from attempting the strict 500 deadlift. I just recently started training with bands on the deadlift to help gain some new strength.

Hey brotha hows the iron?? Quick question, wanted to know your advice on what attributed the most to raising your deadlift strength. Alot of posterior core work? hitting the hams more? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hey hope you doin alright! Our motivation can't be high every day all the time. But everyone has that nitch that drives them to do more. It may be a certain workout, a certain lift, or anything in life. Keep striving to improve and focus on the long-term outcome. God Bless

Thanks brotha! My goal is to catch up to you. I've been doing a 2 days Powerlifting/3 days hypertrophy split that I love. I hated combining powerlifting reps and hypertrophy reps all in the same workout and I'm learning this is much better.

haha thats hilarious! I try to grow my hair out but then it gets curly like matthew mcnaughhay style and i just cant deal with it, lol. I bet you've been hittin it hard you are a beast of a champion! I've been doin the same, tore my legs up this morning!

Layne your dvd has taugh me alot. I can't wait to get into natural contests. I wish it was more popular in the south, im having trouble finding anyone to prepare me.

John, as of right now I am sitting at 199 pounds, 11% bodyfat, with a show in April. When would you recommend to start dieting. I also just starting doing Layne Norton's Power/Hypertrophy Split this week. Lagging bodyparts-hamstrings,calves,forearms.

Great! Thanks so much for your help/advice. Quick question. I feel I have good mass for my size right now besides a couple lagging areas. But with me being 5'11" what would you say I need to weigh in off season. Right now I am only 200. I'm leaner than most with that weight. I just don't know if going into pre-contest if im going to be surprised if I sacrifice some mass while cutting.

How are you man! Its been a long while since I hit you up. I've been researching alot of Tom Venuto and Layne Nortons material. Theres a natural texas show in April and one in July, I am very excited to participate in one. I'd love to hit you up later on for input on some training advice
