How I Started:
My freinds and I would mess around with weights here or there. I didn't really have much knowledge so we would bench sometimes everyday. The iron stuck with me and here I am.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good, as I'm striving to get the body I want. Its a great way to vent and/or to just get away.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to be able to be active when I'm 50, 60 plus... The future is my motivation. Every set, every rep will all add up and down the road I will reap the results.

Goal (Long):
After being approaced by some powerlifters at my gym today and being invited to their training sessions, I realized that I'm at a good weight/BF% now. I'm going to really focus on getting stronger and maybe competing. I'm gonna have to switch up my training completly and redirect my goals but its not about being pretty for me anymore. I'm going to be the best I can barring none.

Dude,i'm starting the routine you gave me a while back, this whole month i'm going to stick with it..I'm also going to throw in a few exercises that work for me, the cardio part, i'm going to do cardio five times a week & have my weekends off for college & pro football..How's your progress so far ??

Dude my computer is messed up, cant check no private messages..Alen , i did squats on Wednesday...HOLY CRAP are my legs sore, lol, i forgot how serious that one exercise is just squatting made m legs feel EXTREMELY sore...peace
i workout 5 days a week, on Wednesdays i do 30 mins. of cardio & then i go home, let me know if i should do anything specific, i Dont mind changing my routines/workout days
i have 4 years of exp. i learned how to train when i played football for my high school,i recently got a membership to a gym near my house & i'm ready to go after taking two years off,at first i was determined to do light weights & hardcore cardio, but i realized i dont have the strength that i had when i was in high school 2 yrs ago, i changed my mind two days ago about my goal. My new goal is gain my muscle mass i once had & strength, can you helpme out brother??
To be honest, about the same length of time. Seriously anyway. I took a long break between 2002 and 2003 and all the time up until 2002 was really just "water treading" I call it.
I got most of my gains during my water treading though. How ironic is that?
Ha ha, man, you look like you've been training longer than 5 years but eh, I get the same thing so I'm not too worried about it. I swore you were about to say you lifted for some sports in high school.
Man, no problem. What all are you doing to get up under 300 lbs? You don't look sloppy so I know you didn't get that big from just eating ho-hos and cinnamon rolls so I know there's some kind of lifting history in there somewhere.
