When I Started:
Oct, 2008
How I Started:
I was a pretty big, big boy. Basically I got so big to the point I no longer weighed myself. Last time that happened I recorded approx. 290lbs, I know I went up to 300lbs since I continued to gain. I was disgusting. I hated everything about myself during that time. I went through some dark times in my life, stress levels and unhappiness was walking hand in hand. I finally decided it was time for a change and boy what a change that was! I basically fooled around with cardio and weights for the past few years off and on at the gym, dropped weigh gradually the past few years w/ the cardio/diet combo, but only very very recent I kinda got serious about my training.
Now it's a combination of cardio and weight training 3-6x a week on average. I try to push it so I don't become accommodated/lazy.
I was sort of 're-born' September 2008 right after I had recovered from surgery (no, it was not gastric bypass) That's when I decided to transform myself into something I have never been. Something I never accomplished before.
I am still on a mission and God only knows where it will take me, but I am very aware that only hard work pays off and I continue to motivate myself and remain focused.
Why I Love It:
Because it motivates me!! Everything in my life evolves around training now. I love having extra energy, love the compliments, attention you name it. I mean, who wouldn't?? I am not a hypocrite. It only gets better and it will only get better-God willing!
Also, the beautiful women that are involved in fitness either directly or indirectly. It's only fair that I reward them with some eye candy, since I love to notice them too.
How I Stay Motivated:
By working out, seeing results, receiving compliments.
BB Accomplishments:
dropping weight gradually from 300lbs in 2004 to ?? now in 2009
(?? = approx. 185 lbs. now)
My goal is to not loose weight necessarily, but lose fat and retain lean muscle as well as work on my strength.
