Fit Status:
As we speak I'm 19 1/2 weeks out from my competition. Weight is unknown, I'm not getting on the scale anymore. Tape, and mirror>>thats it.
First check out my company, www.bodybuildingtees.com and get you some of the best training gear in the nation! We are rolling out new designs every week!!!!!
Well basically I started out young and didn't really have a clue what I was doing, didn't know anything about proper nutrition, training, supplementation, etc. I trained off and on, competing for the first time in 2000 in the Mr. Alabama, placed 2nd in the middleweight division. I then went up and down with training, stopping for years. I picked back up in February of 2005 and haven't looked back since.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the challenge and the dicipline that comes with it. I'm a very passionate person and when I set goals, I achieve them. Bodybuilding is something that was just set in my genes. It's something that I love doing and I will always do it no matter how far I get.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by my beautiful wife and our 2 boys. They are what keeps me going. She's 100% supportive of me in whatever I decide to do in life, and I'm thankful and blessed to have her by my side.
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 2nd, Novice, Middleweights in the "2000 NPC Mr. Alabama"

Basically this was when I hit a bump in the road, stopped training, and became a skinny little punk. I'm always laughing at this picture. I was sub 170lbs, and needed some serious work.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
More energy, more motivation, more disiplined. I think by having a very strict and dedicated regime, I can utilize this at my home with my wife and our boys. It gives me more energy to play with them, and to help my wife around the house and make sure she's not doing all the leg work. My wife trains as well, so we both are in the best shape of our life. Thanks be to the Lord for all we have. More energy, more motivation, more disiplined. I think by having a very strict and dedicated regime, I can utilize this at my home with my wife and our boys.
