Started working out in high school around 10th grade, got more into it in the 11th and started running. Went into the Marine Corps in '05 and definitely had no choice even other than to stay fit as opposed to hit my goal of increasing mass.
Why I Love It:
Just an overall positive feeling, feels great doing, gives you a better sense of self and of course the results look good and make you feel good.
How I Stay Motivated:
-Kicking myself in the ass for drinking so heavily these past years.
-Desire to succeed life.
-Have to remain in the best possible shape, dont want to turn into a spelunkk.
BB Accomplishments:
Have already put on a ten solid pounds of muscle in the past two months just eating on a slightly above adequate diet.
I have been in the marine corps for the past 4 years, in the infantry, and between training and Iraq, only stayed somewhat fit with endurance like my fellow marines rather than achieve my goal is gaining muscle. I put on 10 pounds in the last 2 months since ive been out by eating right and working out- I quit drinking just short of that time frame.
I am shooting to put on another 20 by end of this year (175) and get up to 185/190 next year and start a cutting cycle around April and define what I have.
Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
Its working, want to make sure i'm working on increasing my weight capability on respective exercises

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
Somewhat, not really something I discuss too much. Do have certain friends I can talk and relate to on it, aside from my brother- but a lot of people arent in the loop with it and even with discussion dont take much from it.Somewhat, not really something I discuss too much. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Dont ever stop. Do not stop, break here, give way there. or youre fucked and you wont get to where youre going. Hate to be so blunt but thats the truth.
So I have been struggling for some time. I have made the decision to go anabolic and am on my second day of my anabol cycle. I have noticed a huge increase in appetite, and a great deal of muscle energy- a lot. Does anybody on here have any advice for a novice? I am currently 154, and would like...
