Jan, 2008
How I Started:
Always been a very big fan of bodybuilding, read magazines, books, anything I could get my hands on. Have worked out off and on for a number of years. Thought it would be cool to see if all the things I've learned and believe to be true actually work.

Well, I hope someone reads this at some point as this is my first blog ever. In part because I never new what the hell a blog was and to tell you the truth I'm still not all that sure. From what I understand its a form of daily journal, thats what I've decided to use it for anyway. I feel I need...
As a fellow Canadian (originally from Hamilton) I just thought that I would drop by and wish you much success in your body transformation quest. Both my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I used Body for Life, which is a 12-week program. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% bodyfat to 10% and my wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6. Always believe in your own inner strength and push yourself to be the best that you can be. I look forward to seeing your progress.
I just wanted to let you know that it is possible. I began at 243 I am now at 231. It took me four weeks of clean eating and morning cardio. not to mention weight training. I plan on getting down to 210. check out my progress pics its pretty crazy. If you have any questions feel free to ask. good luck.
You have taken the first step to reaching your goal Rick. Shame can be a powerful motivator in the short term, but not very healthy long term. Just think how proud you will feel when you are standing there at your perfect weight - best wishes to you my friend!
