I was given a DP multi gym, and had been planning on working out for a while now. I am feeling fat and feeling my age right now, and I want to look at least a little better for summer. I also have dumbbells and an Olympic bar with lots of weight.
Why I Love It:
After only a short time I got really addicted to the pump, as it feels so good. Although its very hard work, I love the fact that you get out what you put in.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay focused by telling myself I will never get to where I want to be by shirking and skipping sessions. I push myself very hard, and am very determined.
BB Accomplishments:
I have already seen very good gains, after just 11 weeks at time of writing (June 5th 2008) I have lost a lot of the fat, and replaced it with good, solid muscle. Very happy so far!
I used to be very fit, travelling with my band, spending quality free time in the gym. I let myself go in the pasty few years, and was shocked when I realised just what a slob I had become. Time for a lifestyle change.
Just 5 weeks and I have a smile on my face. Although I will howl with laughter at these one day, I actually could see gains when I had this taken. No doubt the shots I will upload later will also become old ones. For now, I am happy!
I'd like to be able to go to outdoor recreation areas and have a physique that makes people my own age, realise that hard work, and sensible diet does pay off, no matter how old you are.
It's been ten weeks now, and although I am yet to update my progress pictures, I am seeing some really pleasing gains. I have just discovered that I have been over training in some areas, not resting properly, taking too long a break between sets, and not eating like I should. Rather than see...

I've had a weekend of setbacks (lured by the demon pizza) but I'm back on track and working (and eating) hard again.
thanks for your opinion. I do appreciate it. However...my goal with the pics are to show my improvements. (i.e. I wear the heels to show my calves...the bikini to show my stomach.) I have seen way worse than my pics on here. Just wanted to let you know I am just into photography and trying to find creative ways to show my progress. After being huge for 3 pregnancies it feels good to show off my hard work. I mean no harm.
I usually rest between 2-3 minutes between hard sets. Sometimes more so I can give 110% when I go. My last arm routine:
Bar Curls 2 warmups
Tricep Pushdowns 2 warmups
Standind EZ Curl 4 Sets Pyramid Up
Close Grip Bench
1 Arm Curls on Machine Superset with 2 Arm Curls
Skullcrushers superset with behind the back reverse curls (forearms)
Dumbbell Curls
Weighted Dips
Go at it hard. Just don't hurt yourself.
O.K. so how is it going?? Are you staying on track? I have been workin out hard and have tweeked my diet is the last week and I am feeling pretty good!! Hope all is well on your end!
hey thanks for the support man. im doing a 12 week diet / training plan that includes working each muscle group once a week and core trainig twice. im here for support as well bud! keep up the hard work. be strong

Hey, thanks for the comment...I really don't think I do anything special for my waist...I think I just store more fat in other places like my legs, that's all...so the fat is just coming off my waist a little faster than in other places I think.
