How I Started:
the gym that I work at has great motivation from my co-workers. My boss and owner of the gym has basically taken me under his wing and really made me love the sport. Before I began working here I shared a common misconception that many girls my age feel: I was scared to work out because I never wanted to "bulk up"..I was also super INTIMIDATED with the free-weight area!!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel!! I love the looks I get from people seeing me train as hard as I do!! I love to set personal goals and watch myself accomplish all of them and then some!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by feeding off other highly motivated people in the gym...I love to pick people's brains about work- outs and reading articles on how to better improve everything about my workouts...I have a true passion for this and that helps a lot!!

Nothing yet...I will be competing in my first figure show on May 31, 2008...wish me luck!!!

hanging incline db curls..it gives you a GREAT stretch and it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to cheat!!

What calf workout has worked best for you?
well being that my calves are really lacking...i apparently haven't found a great workout for them....:P if i had to choose i would say seated calf raises
arite so im currently 6 weeks out until my show..i have lost inches and im at 12% bf 2 more to go!! after 2 weeks of my weight plateauing i finally lost another 2lbs by just messing with my carbs (high low low days)..i am in it to win it! i am putting my all in!!
