A very personal life experience.
I've always been fat/big guy. I was about 210-215 lbs during my high school years and was on the football team. Got tired of everyone having a slice of life. I was fat (still am, but progressing), felt no purpose in life. In addition, I didn't move much. As a result, my weight skyrocketed close to 260 lbs. A personal experience in life, smacked me. I started to draw away from the closet thing to my heart and away from God. I got sick and tired, and decided to do something. I want that slice of life. It will be my revenge to all who doubted me.
Why I Love It:
It's my stress reliever, and I love seeing the results from those little goals that I set. Hey, it beats staying in front of a computer playing games all day.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife deserves better. She's my soulmate and my greatest blessing from God. With that said...
I reflect on my old self. Sometimes I feel like not working out, but I keep reading other people's accomplishments. Set a small goal, achieve it, and then set another small goal. It's very motivating and pushes me to workout. Lastly, because of what happened to me in life, I want that revenge. To those who doubted me...I will get it.

BB Accomplishments:
Losing the weight/fat (still progressing). My wife says she's enjoying the jawbone coming back! Lol.
Overcoming the rice and adobo....sometimes. What can I say? asians love their rice, man!!

This is taken in August 2006 in the Philippines. That's my wife next to me. I am 260lbs in this picture. A disgusting picture, which I used as fuel to start and keep working out.
Taken on Nov 27, 2007. I am currently 203.5lbs as I'm typing and uploading this (today is Dec. 04, 2007). Not bad, hopefully X-mas food won't destroy all my efforts. Lol.
Naturally bring myself back on the path I took a year ago. I've gained the pounds (225 lbs.), now it's time to tackle it once again.
Goal (Long):
I've recently moved to Japan, and have slacked off quite a bit. I'm trying to make a comeback in order to "lift" myself back up. Nobody can this, but I alone. Pray to Lord I can walk this path again.
Why I like this video: MercyMe - Homesick
Yes, it IS a fitness video, believe it or not. Spiritual/mind fitness. My wife and I are separated temporarily because of the military. I listen to this video when I miss my wife. Keeps me spiritually strong until my wife and I are united again. The spirit/mind must be prepared and strong before any physical change can occur. God bless.
Well things are going well so far. Been extremely motivated, but one thing has stalled me: tendinitis. I've been reading around the forums about ways to treat this condition. Unfortunately, the doctor, says the same thing I've been reading on the forums, which is the healing process...
I remember those days. It can be difficult juggling school with other responsibilities, but it will pay off in the long run. Remember to celebrate and relax with friends and family. You deserve it, and have earned the rest. I hope all of your grades are impressive. Also, thank you for the kind comments Graig, I really do appreciate them. :) T
Awww, thank you Graig! (I keep wanting to all you Craig. lol I'm also looking forward to your future progress as well. Have a wonderful New Year, and let's pick up the pace for 2008!! :) T

Thank you Graig!! I'm always excited to find a Brother or Sister in Christ on bb.com. Your words mean more than you know. Thank you so very much. I agree...all things are possible with the Lord. :) T
