When I Started:
How I Started:
My brother got a weight set for many years ago. He fell in love with lifting. It wasn't long before I too fell in love with lifting also.
Why I Love It:
Helps to relieve stress. I can walk into the gym and take all my frustrations out on the weights. Rather lift than kill someone!
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying informed about weight lifting in general. Meditation, and chatting with others online. Websites help also.
BB Accomplishments:
First attempt at competing June 6, 2009. Visual Arts Physique Show. What an experience! Something very liberating about being half naked in front an audience. A monster has been created!
Forum Signature:
Bodybuilding is both a lifestyle and culture. To lift is to be charged. The iron is forever calling in a calm whisper, heard only by those that love the challenge to be physically better.

He strives, he keeps getting better with out doubt of limitation. A man that clearly has the vision of what is to come in the transformation of his physique. Keep pushing, keep pulling, keep growing!
The leg routine that has worked best for me consists of a pyramid plan. 4 Sets with a rep scheme that declines as the weight progresses (starting out with high reps, and ending with a struggle to rep out the final heavier set.)

Why I like this video: My first show. The guys in the competition were very supportive and great individuals. I was honored to be on stage with them. Congratulations to Thavious the overall winner in our weight class. He is an incredible poser and great guy!
Now that is something! Somebody's kitchen would be scared of you once you walked in! No buffets for you my friend! Everything is going great. Longer days and shorter nights but it just goes with the territory.
You're going to have to change your name to the Incredible Hulk if you put on more size! I aint mad at ya! Everything is on track here. Been busy working overtime but I've found time to workout. Went to a bodybuilding contest last Saturday. That helped to keep me motivated. Anyway, keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing the change! T
sorry for the delayed reply. Anyway... I find my abs work like any other muscle group I have always found that if I want them to grow and develop I have to add weights to my ab excercises like weighted hanging leg raises (I tie a weight around my ankles. I also do stomach vacuums which are often a forgotten exercise. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fu n/ms-fit5.htm

Appreciate that Bro! This site really helps me out! Not those who just peep and keep passing by or say some off the wall b.s. comment! I started off with some specific goals to achieve by the time I reach 50 and that's what it's all about! Keep doing what your doing and you won't have this struggle. Trust me...it's harder the older you get. Went to my 30th class reunion last weekend and I'm feeling pretty good about myself! It's all good! T
