How I Started:
I used to run 5 miles 4 times per week. I also worked out three times per week but I was super skinny. I couldn't get bigger. I mean I had no idea about nutrition and caloric intake requirments for a hard gainer. So I just got more and more tone ( no desired size though). The more I learned about nutrition, the bigger I became, until I am now about 10 lbs of lean mass bigger.
Why I Love It:
When I go to the gym I forget all the stress of college and just concentrate on working out. Also, it makes me look good. It's funny, people have very little idea about how fit I am when i wear a shirt, but when i go to the beach or cuzzi they're always like wwwwhhoooaa and that's motivating.
How I Stay Motivated:
By always reading articles on bodybuilding.com....like about Anthony Catanzaro.. that guy is awesome and truely inspirational. He looks incredible and he did it all naturally. I also surround myself friends that have the same goals as I do.
BB Accomplishments:
Gaining 10 lbs of lean muscle.

My shoulder hurts during most pressing movements. This is very frustrating to me because I want my chest to get bigger and most mass building chest exercises involve the shoulders. It just gets inflammed and weak when I do pressing movements. But after I ice it, stectch it, and let it rest...
Well at least you know ... I am sure we are all genetically unstable in some way. Throw up some new pics so we [and you] can see the gains. "Look out Arnold. here I come." -- you look like the Austrian Oak, eh? ;o) The pics give focus ... I am glad now that I took some of the shots I did of myself to compare. There were times when I thought things were going great and they were not, vice a versa. The pics don't lie. Be relentless bro!
Thanks for stopping by there FreshA ... I am gonna keep at it. Set new goals to put the right kind of weight back on now that I got the mass majority of the bad weight off. So how's the shoulder and workouts going. Ever pick up any Flex?
Hey FreshA - Glad the shoulder is better. Most of the sugars are happenstance. This is what I have after I workout: a scoop of protein powder, about a cup and a half of non fat yogurt and a half a cup of berrys or some other fruit mixed in. It is important to have some carbs to spar with the protein after a workout, but I don't have an opinion. I wouldn't get too hung up on it ... don't loose the addiction - train hard bro!
