When I Started:
May, 2001
How I Started:
Before I started exercising and eat foods that are nutritious, I was very skinny and out of shape. I couldn't even do simple things like walk at least 5 steps up the stairs without getting tired. I know, pathetic. That's why I decided to enter into the world of bodybuilding and nutrition.
Why I Love It:
Because I love how the body changes and how one can push themselves to the limit.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at other people that are fat and/or out of shape and decided that I don't want to look like that ever again.

Freedomwarrioris inspired by ladderman. Reason: "His physique explains everything. Hope to look at least close to this when I'm His age (he's in his 40's). "
I have seen all of Mr. Gethin's training videos on this site and he have taught me allot whether he knows it or not. I even learned some new exercises that I haven't done before that are actually more efficient when working some muscles on the body.
Thanks Chris Gethin.
I don't normally get my inspiration from anyone under 18 years old, but this kid is freaking amazing. He is only 15 years old and not letting silly superstitions like "stunted growth" stop him *L*. Seriously, if this kid can do it, than anyone no matter what age should be able to do it.
Description: flexing abs and legs. Warning, I am in my underwear in this video and I'm also showing off my glutes a bit. I am not trying to offend anyone.
Thanks.
Why I like this video: Mr. Nick Scott is another person that I have great respect for. Being in a serious car accident and being in an wheelchair did not stop him from bodybuilding. Obviously he can't work his legs, but he can work his upper body. There is no excuse for not exercising.
Greetings everyone. Since April of 2009, I have decided to be a semi-vegetarian. What I mean by "semi-vegetarian" is that I eat mostly fruits, vegetables, tofu, etc only eating fish and meat once a week. The reason why I do this is because putting myself on this diet plan helps...

sounds like a really interesting list of other stuff you're involved with. Have thought about taking some other sport up - especially a martial art - but now time at the moment; maybe after I've got my phd written though. Btw. thanks for putting me on your inspiration list.
I ate too much junk food over the summer and I got kind of depressed too. I am currently trying to lose the bodyfat and I am going to be getting into more of a endurance runner shape for US Army SPecial FOrces training. Why do you ask?
that sounds like a great approach.. shake things up a bit! variety is always good when it comes to workouts.. glad to hear you found something you like and that's fun and challenging! I need something like that..hahah
