thanks a lot! ive been cutting for the past 3 months and ive managed to shred 6lbs of fat, which isnt bad at all... 3 more weeks to go and ill start bulking up! im hoping to gain at least 15lbs of lean muscle by the end of april 2010! we shall see how that works ;-)
Thank you as well...The comments below are very solid. I would also add that you get as much information as possible on a continual basis...so you can use what you learn to fit your particular situation. From your avi..eat clean..eat enough...lift hard and heavy...throw in a couple of days of cardio and your golden!
hey man its all about calories in vs calories burned. it doesnt matter what you do as long as you are gaining weight. id suggest doing low intensity cardio for 20-30 mins postworkout just to keep the blood flowing
HAHA its is a hard thing to do and is exactly the reason my progress pics are getting further and few between. To build muscle requires your consume more calories then you burn (and to bust your ass in the gym) I would suggest keeping your diet the same and slowly add in good complex carb when you dont put on weight. I try to gain a lb a week and i add 60g (about 1 cup oats) into my diet if i dont make weight for that week
if you keep that routine up i promise you will be satisfied. but it doesnt matter how much time you put in the gym if your diet isnt in check. eat clean and get results!
its hard for me to tell you what you are lacking with out knowing what you are doing. id suggest lifting 3-4 times a week and doing cardio 5-6 days a week for at least 20 mins a day. eat clean and i promise you will see results. when the progress tapers off add more cardio and gradually decrease your calories.
with low intensity cardio that really isnt much of a concern. If it really worries you i suggest drinking a amino acid cocktail during your cardio. I suggest xtend by scivation. Its great stuff
get your diet in check. its absolutely key. I do cardio 6 days a week, mostly low intensity treadmill work but sometimes ill do hiit to burn a little extra fat. its very hard to loss fat and gain muscle at the same time. i suggest getting your body fat down and then slow start adding calories back in your diet to build a little muscle. good luck buddy
