When I Started:
Apr, 2007
How I Started:
I was really sick of looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw. I want to be able to respect myself!
Why I Love It:
Challenging myself and meeting that challenge makes me feel great. I have a desk job and I love the physical battle of working out, and I love leaving the gym feeling that I've accomplished something.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's good to switch it up in the gym, try new things and not get bored. I'll go from bodyweight exercises to free weights, circuit training, all sorts of regimes. So far I've found a daily full-body circuit-style workout is best for me.
BB Accomplishments:
So far I've just lost quite a lot of fat (still a bit to go though) and actually built some muscle. It probably sounds ridiculous but I was very happy when I could first do unassisted dips and chin-ups!
Hey, yea theres a couple people on here that go to Fultons. Although Im not there for the summer, only during the school year. You made some great progress so far man keep it up!
As a fellow Canadian I just thought that I would drop by to say if you really want to lose weight and get into great shape it is best to follow a proven program. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Push yourself, possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and how fast they happen. It will be well worth the effort.
