First off, I wanted more strength for football. I started on defense but was the weakest guy on defense. I also had a lot of friends lifting and once I got started, I couldn't stop.
Why I Love It:
I needed a way to get away from things. When I needed to blow steam and just get away, I normally would play football. Football is done now and Weightlifting is the one thing I completely dedicate myself to.

I keep trying to make my own workout routine but its not working out for me so well. I switch between high-reps and low-reps programs every month. However, I seem to have problems with my low reps. Doing exercises like pulldowns for 5 reps just seems wierd. I'm talking to a good buddy to try...
Hey man, I am starting to play football myself starting this fall. I am going to play highschool football at my local highschool for the cougars. give any good tips, weight training, nutrition,etc from a seasoned veteran? Thanks, keep up the good work.
