When I Started:
How I Started:
I started the way every guy should be lucky enough to start: lifting in the garage with my father. we used an old wooden bench that was padded a bit for benching, an old olympic weight set, and a benchpress/squat rack that pops got welded together for us. we did pullups from the crossbeams on the ceiling. Those were the days...no fancy equipment, no a/c, just loud music and lots of sweat.
I kept it going with partners from the neighbourhood after he stopped again.
Why I Love It:
It's the perfect 'me time'. Once i get into my first set, whatever was bothering me outside is erased from my mind. I also love pushing myself, which is what it's all about: competing against yourself. nobody else matters
How I Stay Motivated:
Progress and stubborn determination. and most recently, Bodyspace!
BB Accomplishments:
None...yet. A friend and I always said we would enter a show if we felt confident in our physiques around contest time

Just after i cut back on the liming and the drinking and got more serious in the gym. My back needed more thickness and my traps were almost non-existant. I was about 155lbs at 14.5% BF
trying to recreate the original pose to compare my back and delts. back still needs more thickness, but the delts/traps have improved
The man managed to maintain a sick physique with a broken wrist, whereas that would have been reason enough for me to avoid the gym. He's also a remarkably positive guy. Plus, he did a one-arm deadlift! That was probably stupid, but inspiring nonetheless!
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
lifting for far too long.
improper form.
going too heavy.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Take it slowly. don't try to impress anyone with how much weight you can lift. think about good form, not heavy weight...everyone has to start somewhere
I realy like the NO extreme, I've genually had some sick pumps with that. I like the taste of the M5 and had good pumps from it too, but creatine does nothing for me.
Yeah I'm good cheers. Pretending to work while I actually sit here and look at profiles to keep the motivation up.
I'm a Tottenham fan... so not much success for us this season.
Yeah getting that focus can be the hardest part to any training, be it gym or football but once you have it you just go with it and mix it up when things it down. Cheers for the comments.
Yea boy I couldn't make it in the south gym again, did Kai come down as planed???
Yea the show was great, well yuh have to remember that kai 2 was off season so he was holdin plenty water, he would look a bit smaller than that on and a lil closer to our gys size. If you look at steve Isaac for example and dichon eve, alot of the guys r catching up to them in size, but there'll be a big diff in the kind of look and detail possesed by each because of gh and other factors.
I know what it's like when it's football season and you are going to a bar with friends. I know I have to get some new pics up on here of me. Hope you have a good weekend.
It's coming along good trying to cut some more before putting a pic up here of me. Just got my body fat 10.5 percent. Going for 7 and i'll be happy. So how is everything coming along with you?
hey bro I'm good thanks. My wrist is much the same, its impossible to know how its doing untill I have another x-ray. So I'm still mostly doing 1 handd stuff
I stopped taking that awhile ago. I loss weight but not the bodyfat like I wanted. So it did everything it said it wouldn't do. I take mostly BSN products and as of now they are working wonders right now. I feel pumped, focused, and motivated at all times. I have to force myself to take a rest day. Right now I do cardio 3 times a week. Weights 4 times a week and 1 rest day. But this is only my first week on this schedule. I will let you know how it turns out. Dueces!
Thanks for the uplifting words. I have increased my cardio in my workouts. But my thing is that I don't want to become too skinny. I feel that I am at a good size but just too much bodyfat. I am trying to build mass while at the same time lose bodyfat. My diet is pretty sound and I just recently put in some supplements. But when I did alot of cardio. I feel that I am getting skinny. And when I do little to no cardio I am getting bigger but my midsection stays the same. I'm confused brother.
