Not untill my early 20's I first tryed lifting weights and then I did off & on as the years pass.
In 1997 I was in really good shape and kept it up for 3 years. then I fell off track. For the next 5 years I got in the worst shape I ever had in my life.
Not untill 2005 I finally said enough. I was tired of being tired and complaining that I was not happy with my body. One day I finally worked out for the first time in years, And saw such a change in a month, That I was hooked again.
Then I had a really bad shoulder injury in 2007 and had to heal for a 1 year. now I just started up again in late June 2008.
Why I Love It:
The way I feel after working out is great. And feeling better and having more energy because of working out. And the best part is looking & fitting better in clothes and out of them. ;)
How I Stay Motivated:
I can be a bit lazy at times, It's part of my leo nature. But once I start up I really get into it. So I want to keep up the progress and not fall of track. And Seeing all the others here that look so great really motivates me.
This is the starting point of my return to working out again.
It's been 1 year since I joined here. I have lost weight through the year, and kept it off. And been sticking to working out & trying to eat better. I feel better and I'm Happy that 1 year later I'm still sticking to it!
Gain Muscle.
At my age of 45 I want my body to look better & be in the best health I can be. I want to get my body in a muscular & physical state that I have never achieved before.
