I used to watch my aunt workout her "fat" when I was younger. I somehow became the proud owner of 1 ten pound weight and the rest is history. My mom bought me my first exercise machine around the age of 16 (body by Jake)and I was hooked for life!!!
Why I Love It:
I love the human body and think that they all should be cherished. I love to see transformation, even on the smallest of scales. I think a FIT body shows dedication, commitment and self value.I do ALSO like to feel good about myself. Looking good definitly helps.
How I Stay Motivated:
I feel that I must maintain a certain level of fitness for my career choice and my increasing age. I also feel better about myself, physically as well as mentally when im actively working out.I admire body parts. I want to look good for my wife, so she never takes her eyes off of me.
BB Accomplishments:
My biggest accomplishment to date is increasing the size of my arms. I used to have spaghetti size arms now they are more like lasagna size. I used to work the front desk at a major gym many years ago. I used to respect and secretly envy the trainers of the gym. I wanted to be in their shoes. I became a PERSONAL TRAINER a few years later. Work is not work to me its FUN. With the exception of waking up when its dark outside, I love this industry and cant see myself happily outside of it. :)

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Get a trainer, a buddy or someone that can always give you that extra push to DO IT when you dont want to. I am a trainer but sometimes when my motivation/energy is low i have a hard time focusing. So as i always say: even trainers can benefit from a another trainer.Get a trainer, a buddy or someone that can always give you that extra push to DO IT when you dont want to.
