How I Started:
I have always been active and played a lot of sports, I worked out and did a lot of long distance running. But a couple of years ago, I decided I needed to loose some weight but when I did, I discovered that I had no muscle and was still flabby - skinny fat. I didn't realize that all of that cardio and not eating enough have kept me fat.

I wish I could get a more accurate measure of my bodyfat. Caliper test comes out to 16.9 and the scale says 19.3. So, I am going to use the caliper numbers even though I think that my bf is higher only because I know that the results will be consistent. ...
Currently doing a Upper/Lower Split that I borrowed from someone on this site. This program is based on heavy and light compound lifts. Monday 5X5 Bench and Bent Rows with light military preses and pull-ups, Tuesday 5X5 Squats with light ham work, Thursday 5X5 Military Press and pull-ups...
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! I know I have to get more strict with my diet. I have a plan I am starting in August so hopefully the fat loss will be more predominant then
Hey, thanks. It still seems like the progress is small compared to the amount of effort that goes into it, but slow and steady wins the race. I appreciate your encouragement.
Hey...thanks for the compliment. I had actually been mis-diagnosed all those years with a mitral valve prolapse (basically incurable). When they found the real problem, it was truly a life changing thing.
Have a great 4th!
The sushi was excellent. Check this out, I had Oh-Toro (fatty tuna), saki sashimi, salmon skin handroll, and kani dynamite ( Cal.handroll w/ unagi, salmon, and tobiko ). I'm getting hungry just talking about it Nancy :P hehehe
Hey Nancy. Just dropping by to let you know it's been a good 2 weeks back into the gym. My muscle memory is back and so is my burning metabolism throughout the day. Didn't drop any pounds yet, but that's the least of my concerns right now. Had some sushi today and thought about you :). Your looking awesome ! Keep up the great work.
