I want to lose about 20-30 lbs and gain muscle. I want to feel comfortable taking my shirt off in Cancun in Oct.
Goal (Long):
I started out just doing a little cardio and weights and watching what I was eating and lost about 20lbs. Now I'm down to 220lbs and want to be about 190-200lbs. What I really want to lose is body fat. Last I measured it was about 30%. We have a big group going to Cancun in Oct. and I want to lose about 10-15lbs by then. I was always skinny as a kid and when I got older I started to gain weight now I'm trying to lose what I added on. I'm starting to eat clean and work out both cardio (spin class) what a blast and weights to gain some size and get cut.
Ok I got up this morning expecting to maybe only lost 1/2 lb but when I weighted I was down 3.5 lbs. I was very shocked I know that a lot of it was water but damn the sure makes you feel good. I can tell a difference in the over all energy it has come up quite a bit. Thank to everyone's kind...
I wanted to drop by and wish you success in your weight loss quest. Both my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I used Body for Life, which is a 12-week program, and we had very good results. Always believe in your own inner strength and challenge yourself to be the best that you can be. I wish you all the best and look forward to watching your progress.
Oh believe me I'm trying to undo the damage from the holidays lol, but thank you so much for the sweet compliment. Hope all's well with you hun, good luck in 08! :D
The decision to get in shape is never the wrong decision so congrats on that. Just remember that stepping through the door of the gym is 90% of the battle. Keep the faith...-|-
Stick with the basics to master perfect form and avoid injuries. Take supplements, especially a multi-vitamin. No one can eat perfectly and a multi will fill your nutritional gaps you don't get from whole foods. This will maximize muscle growth and fat metabolism. Good luck,
