How I Started:
I got my first group fitness certification from AFFA and started working as an instructor at a women's gym in Texas! But I really started focusing on workingout after my son was born in 2002!
Why I Love It:
God only gave me 1 body, so I gotta take care of it! It just feels SOOOOO good . . . I love lifting heavy, sweating, thinking I'm not gonna make it the end of a set . . . and then getting it done . . .and adoring the burning feeling in my muscles!
How I Stay Motivated:
My little one keeps my motivated. . . I want him to know the importance of staying healthy and fit! And he's so competative at such a young age. He always wants to race and do push-up contest and "let's see who can hold a plank the longest!" He's only 6, I have to give him some serious competition:-)!Plus wanting to look SMOKING HOT at all times, keeps me motivated too!!

I'm not sure what size or what weight right now . . . but I have the look in mind! I really want to maintain the muscles I have . . . that's really important. From now until March really focus on my CORE (lower back, abs, glutes). Maintain CURVES and MUSCLES while leaning out a bit more! Work hard and train until I puke!

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
At least 15! Somtimes as many as 30! My goal is mainting the muscle that I have, and gettin' CUT UP . . . not putting on more.

Right now I kinda think Jenny Lynn because she has a fit look but very feminine. But I also really like Gina Allioti too!

SO . . . I'm starting to wonder if I'm a little crazy! EMotional . . .  yes, high maintenance . . . yes, genius (smile) . . . yes, crazy . . . maybe a yes!

So things have been pretty stressful lately, between a little one who has been sick for a month now (yes a month), 3 jobs, a crazy...

I don't think I would have considered bodybuilding had I not tried figure and met some women who changed my notions of what it COULD be. I did something that I never thought I'd do! Now, I want MORE! LOL!
