I've been active in sports since I was little. I earned my personal trainer cert., in 1995. I continued to get more serious and explore the benefits of weight training. In 1998, I had TWINS!!! Since then, it's "BEEN ON"!!
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong, centered, and alive. I love how working out and eating right enables me to maintain a balance in my overall health and well-being.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't struggle with motivation because I know that this lifestyle is instrumental in keeping me on top of my game. The benefits are too great. I am blessed!
BB Accomplishments:
2nd- 2008 NPC VA State Championship
2nd- 2008 NPC MD Grand Prix
2nd- 2008 NPC VA Clash of Champions

Goal (Long):
I stay lean year round (I eat healthy). I don't like the way I feel when I'm bloated and weighted down from crap foods. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy "cheat foods", just not all the time. I don't like when my body goes through EXTREME fluctuations, and more than 10 lbs., is extreme to me.
I stay under 9% body fat, usually between 7-8%. The lowest I've ever been (right before competition) was 5.4%- it makes my joints hurt! LOL I think this is because I take care of myself year round and my off-season doesn't mean "go crazy". Not because I am not allowed, I just don't like the way I feel (PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, and EMOTIONALLY), if I don't adhere to a regimen.
So, with all that in mind.... my goal (and challenge) is to try to "stream line" my physique, without looking too ripped! Not sure how that's going to roll, but here it goes!
