Overall Goal: Time to shed some muscle - been striving to build an upper body that matches my lower body and frankly I prefer LITTLE ;) Gonna change my diet and my goals - NPC Bikini 2010
I started working out in the early 90's following the birth of my second daughter. It started as a social outlet and grew into a passion!
Why I Love It:
I love training because it makes me feel strong both emotionally and physically! The gym is the only thing I have full control over.... with a life that is hectic and demands that seem to never dwindle, it is such a great escape.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband is my ultimate motivation! He has a gorgeous body and is so regimented! I want him to always think the same of me! Plus, as a trainer, my clients look to me for motivation! I NEVER want to let him down!

Goal (Long):
I am entering the Love/Hate relationship with the "off season".
My goal is to redifne my overall shape. NPC is looking for a "softer" look which confuses the hell out of most of us! I decided long ago that you can only please yourself and although I have been deducted for being "too hard" I prefer a tight body! It is impossible to please each judge and in the end I am the one left in this body and I say "keep it hard".
I am striving though to build mass especially in my shoulders and back which would help with my overall balance. (I tend to put on muscle in my quads WELLLLL before anything else).
Another goal I have set for myself during this off season is to learn to appreciate and accept my post season body. I had a really hard time with this last time as it can be so depressing to go from being in the most amazing shape of your life to feel like a puffy mess in a matter of weeks. But I learned last time that it is a necessary evil and that you just can't remain in a deficit calorically and expect your body to magically build muscle! So I am going to see this season as "the growing season" rather than the off.
I can't wait for the next competitive season to begin!
Trying my hand at modeling during the off season and loving it... :)
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
