My first goal is to loose weight! I have already proved the family genes wrong so far and I want to go beyond that and compete and show everyone it CAN be done!

I started out doing a lot of research about 10 years ago. The internet offers a ton of information. I'd say go to siouxcountry.com and register to be on that board. It is a great place to find out about things, get answers, and ask questions.
The wonder is why I STARTED working out. I hate cardio with a passion and I only did it cuz my motivation was high at the moment, but that always wears off quickly and now Im back to square one, with zero energy or drive to do anything. I take medication that makes me lethargic and I have depression issues and other crap that makes it all harder than it should be.
Hi! Thanks for the add. As far as what has worked for me, I guess its been a combination of diet and exercise. I had the huge help of a nutritionist who set up my diet and help me lose the weight in a way that wasnt too "painful". I havent exercised in months tho, my motivation has gone to hell. Anyway, good luck with your goals.
