How I Started:
After watching a Ms. Fitness America competition and attending a bodybuilding show, I realized I wanted a better looking, muscular, and fit body that I would be proud to display well into my later life. I hired a personal trainer who helped me start and then I became a trainer myself.
Why I Love It:
Because seeing the progress is so rewarding. I love watching my body transform into something more shapely, tighter, & more muscular. I also love meeting new people with the same goals and passion for working out and it pushes me to work even harder towards my goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
The people I've 'met' on BB.com really encourage me and motivate me to be the best I possibly can. Reading all those competition prep. journals and seeing all the hard work and dedication of others drives me. The people I've met at previous shows have provided countless support and motivation & I am so thankful for them. To be a part of the 'iron brotherhood' is truly something unique and special. To not be seen as 'just a girl' but a respectible young woman that can bench press her weight, do her own wide-grip pullups, leg press 4x her weight, and still look feminine...that is priceless! :)

Goal (Long):
To be an inspiration for people young and old, fit and not so fit. I want to always maintain a positive attitude no matter what happens. I would like to place in the top 3 at a contest in the next year. I would like to continue to meet new people in the bodybuilding world & motivate & encourage others wherever and however I can. In the future, I would like to compete in Ms. Fitness America, learn tumbling skills, & be able to perform an outstanding routine. For now though, I'm happy to gain some mass & kick some.... :)
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Write down my workout plan, maybe listen to some Trance music, sometimes read Muscle Fitness or some of the various articles or exercises in my notebook.

What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
Oatmeal Cookies - oats, flax oil, canola oil, wheat germ, creatine, whole wheat flour, dark chocolate pieces, walnuts, raisins, brown sugar, & white flour. Mostly all organic.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
The Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno & Vegetarian Diet. No Partially hydrogenated ANYTHING, no high fructose corn syrup, & as little fake dyes as possible.
Last weekend I competed in the U.S.A.G. Stuttgart Bodybuilding & Figure Invitational. I took 2nd place in my 2nd show & I am absolutely happy with the way things turned out. I came to the stage this time out with much improved posing, poise, and stage presence not to mention added...
Congrats!!!! My next show is in October, but I am not going to diet or deplete this time. Then I am doing my last of the season in November. Are you done until the spring?
