When I Started:
Apr, 2008
How I Started:
Have always had trouble gaining weight, had managed to gain 28lbs(with the help of my husband) then got ill, got better and then fell preggers straight away, had my wee one 4 weeks ago, nearly died in the process, i literally withered away within a week of eating hospital food(although i had ab's 2 days after giving birth, i wanna get back what i had before i fell ill) i just wanna track my progress from now on:)
Why I Love It:
It surrounds my everyday life at home as hubby is competitive, our friends are mostly involved in this world....and its a great way to vent my inner frustrations whilst making myself feel and look better.
How I Stay Motivated:
My family motivate me, we have a sick wee lass and a preemie wee boy....if they can get through life with their problems then i can keep going just a wee while longer.
I want to eat well, live well, get leaner, grow a little, make my hubby and my kids proud of me!
I don't have specific targets, as i said i just wanna see where all of this takes me, i ain't in a rush. At the moment i am only doing cardio as i had an emergency c-section only 4 weeks ago, i have already lost the 'extra' weight that i was carrying and hope to improve on what i have:)
BSN lean dessert,, although i use whatever is in the house at the time:)

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Pick the right plan for you and your goal and stick to it, preferably have someone who knows what they are talking about to advise you. Stick at it, the changes that you will see are worth it. Don't over train, get plenty of rest and eat properly, feed your body with what it requires...and remember it takes TIME.Pick the right plan for you and your goal and stick to it, preferably have someone who knows what they are talking about to advise you. At the mo i'm waiting until the hubby's shows are over and hopefully my wee boy will get...
