Started Fall 2008. Of course, I've fallen off the wagon a few times, but the important part is that I keep getting back on. My first goal is to understand what healthy eating means, to find what works form me, and to start getting rid of... this is hard to say out loud... 200 extra pounds. OMG did I just say that?
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel; accomplished, well oiled, humming, tired but energized at the same time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Work out in the morning, first thing, before work. It means getting up early, yes, but by the time I get to work I feel great and have done the most important thing in my day -- and the least likely to get done if left to chance after a ten hour work day.
My husband and I play, "Feel that!" and amaze one another with our changing curves and slopes. That's motivating.
Overall I want to weigh in at 160, healthy and strong. Then... we'll see. That means about a 175 lb weight loss is in my future. Lots of changes to habits, beliefs, etc. Wow.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 177 lb

Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?
Very rarely

Do you have any type of chronic disease or condition?
Yes
What is it?
(No Answer)
How does fitness help you with your condition? What do you have to do differently in your program since you have this condition?
My condition is that I'm fat! Fitness obviously combats that. =-) The irony is that small changes result in real outcomes which make it easier to be more active. If you feel better, you'll do more, even if that's just a small thing! My condition is that I'm fat! Also I recommend that you take smaller steps. By taking smaller steps towards a larger goal, you are able to experience success much more quickly and much more often. So instead of telling yourself you're going to lose say 50 pounds within the year, try telling yourself you're going to lose 1 pound this week. Then do it.
Remember:
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
I wish you success on your way to your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try, but you are different, you are proving that with hard work and determination it can be. I look forward to watching your progress. If there is anything that I can do to be of assistance feel free to give me a yell. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Remember: "I'm not telling you it is going to be easy, but I am telling you it's going to be worth it."
I am super encourage you still in the fight... Is hard but you can do it. Keep it up; make small changes every weeek and slowly but surely you will achieve your dreams. Commitment is everything!
WELCOME! YOU ARE ALREADY A WINNER! This will be a hard journey but you can conquer your goals. I believe you can do it. I'm learning a lot about low-calorie diets and calorie burning; its easier than I thought; contact me if you like and we can encourage each other. GOOD LUCK! I WISH YOU THE BEST!
