Overall Goal: DO WORK CREW. For those that aren't afraid to train 365 days a year, plus the 2 a days. Gettin ready to DO WORK with the help of one of Mr. Poynter's plans.
Fit Status:
Been a while...gettin back in the game. Look out fat...you are about to be under attack!!!!!
I used to be in great shape...now I'm not. Such is life. I'm taking a proactive approach in getting back to the body composition I used to be, and then moving past it and getting into even better shape. So...I guess ultimately I'm starting all over in July 2009.
Why I Love It:
Stress relief...and you can actually measure your success...AND all your success is dependant upon how much time you put in. Unless you are doing bodybuilding competitions, your only competition is you, so it is a measure of your success that you are solely responsible for. Can't blame not reaching your goal on the VP not liking you...ya know?
How I Stay Motivated:
Everything I do is for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Also, my little boy is HUGE motivation. I don't want him growing up thinking that living unhealthy is ok.
I also read this (Thanks lindseybeth): Demanding the best from yourself is not the same as expecting perfection or never being satisfied with your progress. It's not about being unreasonable or trying to push yourself beyond your true capabilities. Demanding the best from yourself is about being honest about your capabilities, about learning how to stretch your limits and refusing to buy into excuses that limit your potential. It's about recognizing your strengths, honoring your accomplishments, and always striving for greater success in all areas of your life.
When you demand the best from yourself in everything you do, you'll soon realize that your results will be the best too.
BB Accomplishments:
None. :( I used to be in shape...but...I mean, I guess I can say that I leg pressed 1500 one time...but that was a LLOONNNGGGG time ago...

This is after a SEVERAL month stint away from working out...but the previous working out only lasted about 2 months, and that was after a couple year break. "Just getting back into it" is an understatement. 248 pounds at 26% bf
