Myself and my friends used to go the gym all the time, I was too small to played basketball, so I wouldn't get picked at all or they would picked me last. After a couple months of rejection I decided to try the weight room and I found sanctuary in weight training, I never look back. I started bodybuilding after one of my friend told me I should try bodybuilding and see if I like it. She helped me dieting for 4 weeks and won my first novice competition.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding to me is like an artist working on a painting, you can always make it better, there's always room for improvement, and you can't rush to the end; only time will get you there. Being able to see the end product after 13 to 16 weeks of hard work and dedication is inspiring to me. I love exercise because it’s a way of life for me. I believe exercise makes me the person that I am today. I do bodybuilding because it takes me away from my comfort zone; we all have a comfort zone. To find out what you capable of doing you have to take yourself out of that comfort zone and challenge yourself to do things others afraid of doing
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by setting realistic and achievable goal for myself. I found setting small goal and updating once I reach my goal works for me

It's difficult to keep up with my blog on a daily basic especially in Iraq. However I'm keeping a log by writing down everything I do for the whole 6 weeks. One day or when I get back to the states I will upload it because I only wish I had all that information when I started. I will keep...
thanks man. That was actually my very first competition. I learned a lot from it; I want to do a couple next year. Lol I just hate the dieting part though. How about you? how long have you been at it for?
