Got my start when I was 16 years old. It was smomething that earned the respect of my peers. I was instantly hooked, and it gave me an outlet that I really needed at he time. It didn' take to long for it to become my first love. Today, aside from the essentials, its what I live for.
Why I Love It:
Makes me unique, I don't feel like the average nine to five joe, that runs home to see prime time television. I love competing, and the thrill I get from climbing that mountain every single day. It has improved my life across the board, and I have formed some very strong friendships through it. Self improvement reaches far beyond anything physical.
How I Stay Motivated:
Setting goals and deadlines, and accomplishing them. Always giving myself credit for what I have done, but never too stagnant, as their is always a new challenge awaiting.
BB Accomplishments:
To be continued...

Where there are no men be a man.
Even a genius asks questions.
Knowledge is the child of confusion.
Cool cool. It's good to hear from you bro. We have to keep in touch .
Looks like there's a musclemanie event in San Jose the week before and I also want to enter a deadlift comp next year too
Haha nice. Very true; bein well rounded is the way to be. I've been good, man, thanks. Busy. School, kids, wife, work, you know the drill. I am hoping to get my NSCA CPT within the next couple months. I was gonna go for the CSCS just b/c I have the degree, but it'd probably be really tough since I don't know much about the athlete training side. I'l have to peruse through your journal this week to see what I've been missing.
I just read your article on plateaus, Alberto. Awesome read, man! Good job. Are you certified as a personal trainer or strength coach? I read a lot of Ex Phys in that article. Really good article, man.
It's crazy, you never know where life is going to take you. I certainly didn't expect this year to turn out like it did, nor meet the people I did, you, eric and jeff. You Cali folk are a great guys :)
Thanks Alberto, the game plan as of now is to make a slow transition to offseason macro's. Not sure which show I'm aiming for, just want to improve for now and stay lean, take a page out of your book :) How are things going for you? Congrats on starting the 3DMJ.
Thank you for visiting! I recognized the name right away!!! You're one of the 3dmj coaches. Solid physique. All the best as you prepare to take everything in 2011!
