How I Started:
It all started when I was 16-17 doing a combo. of "Beachbody workouts & Tae-boxing w/Billy Blanks (it's CRUNCHTIME) lol. Of course w/higher metabolism frequent walks & jogging on occasion.
Why I Love It:
Well I can't say I love it, but I do luv workin out in a gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
My bf helps with that, he is supportive even when I fall. I was originally at 125 until a drunk driver hit me in 2004. I gained 50lbs after several surgeries & recovering from it all. Took almost 2 yrs to recover. I am finally at the point where enough is enough & it's time to move on. I have slowly but surely gonna get there. I have a min. weight goal for now.
BB Accomplishments:
I was weighing 175 & dropped down to 153 but escalated again. Now, I am back in the 150 range & wanna keep goin.

* breakfast- fruit, lowfat cereal w/skim milk
* lunch- salad/sandwich... includes plenty of veggies with chicken, tuna, ham, rarely beef
* dinner- baked, grilled seafood or light colored meat/side of healthy vegetable, possibly a lowfat bread/noodle serving

Yes, be patient. At least you aren't quitting ;) I'm doing great, developing the back muscles which i'm loving and just leaning out some more and adding the finishing touches where needed :) I do stay a bit hungry sometimes though. Part of this comp prep though. I WILL SURVIVE!

You're doing all the right stuff. As long as you keep your diet on point, that's 80% of the battle. You've already made serious progress so don't stop. :-D
Yea, Jeff is right. We were actually on a weight loss challenge for police, fire and ems personnel. It was called 911 fitness challenge. I see your also from Louisiana.
