I began competing in long distance mountain bike events in 2002. My first race I came in 2 spots from last place. I began training for both musclular endurance and power to never let that happen again. The next race I came in 4 place out of 32.
Why I Love It:
It pushes me to beat the guy next to me. When you accomplish this there is no greater feeling.
How I Stay Motivated:
To beat my time from the previous race and to keep my sponsorships.
BB Accomplishments:
I took 2nd place in the Oregon State Championships Oregon Trail Classic Race as well as 5th Place overall in the Idaho Wild Rockies Race Series for the 2006 season.

My goal is to increase the power in my legs and increase my lactic threshold. I want to take 1st place overall in the 2008 Idaho Wild Rockies Race Series.
I also want to gain about 15 lbs of muscle by the end of the season while still maintaining or decreasing my race times.

Thx so much for reading my entry. It WAS hard for me! So many people get defensive in situations like this, but if they're truly honest w/ themselves they could see the reality I hope people won't remember me when I post the really BAD pics of me in Jan. How goes the workouts my friend? Are you still able to hit the gym? I imagine as busy as you get that the gym is a great stress reliever as well.
