How I Started:
After moving to Hawaii and joining the Army in 2007, I packed on about 20 pounds. I was working with a trainer prior to that and got stellar results. Needless to say, I didn't respect the temple that was built. Now, I am ready to do it for real; for life. I will be 30 this year and I want to focus on being healthy, fit, and happy so I can live life to the fullest. My goal is to compete, be a fitness/figure model, and a professional health nut! I joined Team Poynter and began my program on June 7, 2009. Steve and Team Poynter has helped me accomplish so much! I am now beginning a new regimen with Steve Poynter to prepare for my first figure show on Dec 5!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it makes me feel good. I like being strong and having defined muscles and a trim physique.

Since June 2009, I have nearly 25 pounds, 18 inches, and 11% BF.

Goal (Long):
For the next 3-4 months I am going to maintain my healthy vegan lifestyle and work on building lean mass by going to the gym to lift 4-5 times a week; improve my cardiovascular endurance by incorporating sprints and stairs once a week into my regimen of one short run and one long run a week; improve my flexibility by going to at least 1 yoga class a week. In May 2010, I plan on entering and competing in my very first figure competition in Charlotte, NC.
